JOB DESCRIPTION

United Water Restoration Group is Florida’s fastest growing privately owned Water, Fire and Mold Remediation and Restoration company. We provide 24/7 emergency service to our clients when their property is damaged. We are seeking a talented Accounts Payable specialist who will work in coordination with the Human Resources specialist covering our South Florida locations out of our Pompano Beach office. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable
  • Monitor Bank accounts
  • Phone orders
  • Complete expense Reports
  • Cash and Credit care receipt postings with attachments
  • Update quick books with outgoing funds
  • Recording invoices and credit memos in Quick books
  • Reports weekly to corporate office manager on status of Accounts Receivable
  • Reporting for Marketing Manager weekly cash and invoices, payroll percentages
  • Review of electronic deposits for intercompany receipts and other deposits
  • Bi weekly bench mark reporting of job receipts and expenses
  • Reconcile company credit cards and bank accounts
  • Compile monthly financial statements
  • Assist CPA with any information needed for tax returns, audits and other business-related needs.
  • Write and issue checks as needed

 

Secondary responsibilities are to assist Human Resources specialist in any duties they need help with if you have free time. Human Resources specialist will be assisting you in their downtime as well when you need help, these two positions will be working together as a team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of quick book experience (Required)
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable capacity
  • SAP working experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with data entry
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools
  • A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
