United Water Restoration Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to handle monitoring, routine maintenance and problem solving on our two in house java-based applications. This is on a contract work which should average 3-5 hours a week with availability to handle more work load and available in case of emergencies. This position could grow into a full-time position or larger contract work.

United Water Restoration Group is a full service 24/7 emergency water, fire and mold remediation and restoration company. When our client’s property is damaged, we immediately get to work and start bringing their lives back together after a disaster. It’s imperative that our software works and is reliable for our technicians in the field at all times.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing both applications working closely with management for requirements and changes. We work directly with home owners, insurance and construction companies, any experience working within those industries are a plus.

Both applications include the following tech stack:

  • Vue.js & Vite.js
  • Node.js
  • Express.js
  • Mongosee
  • MongoDB
  • Auth0
  • Google Imap

Requirements / Background:

  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience as a software developer.
  • Ability to develop and maintain applications front and back end.
  • Experience with the MVC design pattern (Node.js)
  • Familiarity with Mongoose and MongoDB
  • Proficiency in design and CSS (SCSS experience preferred)
  • Experience with Git branches & versioning.
  • Experience with Deployment (Heroku)
  • Proficiency in maintaining web performance
  • Ability to set goals and plan new feature sets.
  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up new technologies for business requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (will deal directly with management)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
