Job Summary

United Water Restoration is looking for a full time highly motivated Office Administrator to join our team.  This is a full-time in-office position in Stamford, CT. This person must be cheerful, presentable, have excellent communication skills, be detailed with data entry, diligent with follow up, and enjoy assisting others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: We will train on all job specific functions.

  • Filing & Data Entry.
  • Paperwork Review
  • Inventory Tracking
  • Monitoring and tracking daily and weekly tasks
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Manager and office staff as required
  • Customer Service.
  • Process Estimates and work with insurance companies.
  • Track labor hours for workers.

Characteristics, Traits, and Skills Required

  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Proficient at high paced multitasking with composure.
  • Great organization skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to deal with insurance adjusters and claims.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, type 45+ words per minute with accuracy,
  • Extremely internet literate. High School Graduate, college a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience as an office admin
  • Solid citizen; must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Professional ambition; has the potential and drive to grow in knowledge, responsibility, and accountability as the company grows and expands.
  • We will train on all job functions and software.

Not required, but would be positive:

  • Knowledge of the Water/Fire/Mold Restoration business a plus
  • Certified and thorough understanding of Xactimate and DASH
  • Knowledge of insurance protocol
  • Bilingual a plus.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage $14-$18hr and overtime.
  • Annual bonus potential based on company
